While Starlink has participated in limited, specific emergency connectivity efforts and some country- or partner-specific arrangements, that is not the same as “free for everyone worldwide.” Viral posts promising “free Starlink” frequently circulate alongside suspicious links, surveys, or requests for payment/shipping fees—patterns consistent with phishing and fee scams flagged by consumer-protection and anti-phishing organizations.
